- I've been to your FAQ in the past. I think it's great.
- Now if only there was a fax/data software application FAQ.
-
- Personally, I'd never buy a USR modem. After reading this newsgroup for
- the past several months, USR products rank as high as mud. I can't
- believe the number of problems people have with USR modems. It's both
- software application problems and modem firmware problems. Sure, some
- user finger problems, but not everybody can be wrong!
-
- I'd go with the Supra. I've got a Supra 14.4 and never a hick-up. I know
- several people with a USR Sportster 14.4 and 28.8, and nothing but
- problems.
-
- As a matter of fact, I'm surprised that this newsgroup hasn't split to
- create a new group called comp.decom.modems.usr.problems. Out of the 200
- new posts everyday, about 75% of these are USR modem problems. That was
- my survey.
-
- Well, just my $.02.
-
- regards.
