  24. I've been to your FAQ in the past.  I think it's great.
  25. Now if only there was a fax/data software application FAQ.

  27. Personally, I'd never buy a USR modem.  After reading this newsgroup for
  28. the past several months, USR products rank as high as mud.  I can't
  29. believe the number of problems people have with USR modems.  It's both
  30. software application problems and modem firmware problems.  Sure, some
  31. user finger problems, but not everybody can be wrong!

  33. I'd go with the Supra.  I've got a Supra 14.4 and never a hick-up.  I know
  34. several people with a USR Sportster 14.4 and 28.8, and nothing but
  35. problems.

  37. As a matter of fact, I'm surprised that this newsgroup hasn't split to
  38. create a new group called comp.decom.modems.usr.problems.  Out of the 200
  39. new posts everyday, about 75% of these are USR modem problems.  That was
  40. my survey.
